You've seen the work, and you're interested. So, now what? Reach out via email and let me know what you're wanting to book. (e.g. pencil portrait, painting, or commission an original piece.)
** Please Note** Direct booking online without prior correspondence with me will not be available. Invoices for deposit and total will be sent after you reach out via email. Acceptable payment methods at this time will be Venmo, PayPal or good old fashioned cash if you are local.
Okay, and then?
We can schedule a phone consult, which is needed for any piece of work. To book, you'll pay the 50 dollar deposit and we can pick a day/time that works best for our schedules. From there we can go over what you're looking for as well as answer any questions you may have. The deposit will go towards your total, this just guarantees that you are serious as a client and will go towards costs of product.
After the phone consult, I'll send over an invoice. This will either be for the set prices for the pet portraits, minus the deposit provided, or for the agreed upon price for the commissioned original work.
Sweet, then what?
After the consult, you'll need to provide some reference photos of your pet, these need to be good quality, in good lighting, so I can make sure I capture the likeness of each individual animal. Poor quality photos don't give me much to go off of as far as making sure markings and specific characteristics match.
From there, I'll draw up the line art and send you a proof. It is very, very important that you speak up if there's anything you'd like changed. This will be the time to make any major adjustments to the composition, or orientation of the work.
Your invoice will need to be paid in full at this time. Work will not continue until the piece is paid for. I strive to be efficient and work in a timely manner, but I cannot work for free. Portraits can range from 1 - 2 weeks to finished product after the proof has been approved. Original commissions can take longer, but will be discussed during the consult.
